A Speck of Hope
Daniella, a NYC-area blogger who I know through mutual acquaintances, is a New Orleans native. And for the last three days, she's been through a harrowing, heart-wrenching ordeal.
First, knowing that her grandparents were stranded in their apartment building.
Then, losing contact, and not knowing anything.
Today, she finally received good news-- her grandparents are at a shelter in Arkansas. She doesn't know many details, she's just happy that they're alive. And really, that's all you can hope for at this point.
