Government Conspiracy!

President Bush's address tonight is messing up one of the few pleasures I have left... watching "24." (Perhaps the Bush camp scheduled it that way because 24's fictitious President David Palmer would get better approval ratings than Dubya would?)

I tape 24 every week, because I have to work late on Tuesday nights, so the re-scheduling shouldn't be a big deal. But here's the rub: Fox is putting 24 on Sunday this week, opposite the only other show I watch religiously, "Alias."

Until now, I'd always thought having two VCRs was a little silly.
